Features include a remote control, programmable 12 hour timer that will turn the unit off when desired, 3 cooling speeds and 4 modes of operation (automatic, cooling, dehumidifying and fan only).
As this is a monobloc system it needs to vent the hot air outside so it's vent hose must be fed through a slightly open window or door. However, the window adaptor also supplied enables you to do this with a minimum of air being allowed into the room.
The evaporative technology in the Koolbreeze Kompact 16 & 18 uses any collected moisture to cool the unit before it is eliminated through the exhaust ducts. Along with powerful cooling and heating power, these units feature a 40 or 45 litre/day evaporative dehumidifier eliminating the need to empty a water bucket. The fully adjustable thermostat and programmable timer automatically power the units on and off according to user settings.
Built-in memory and loss of power protection allows the user settings to be saved once the unit is programmed. All controls and settings are on a brilliant, easy-to-read multi-color display. Single hose ventilation kit and window guard is included. Unit must be vented outside when in AC and heater modes.
Adjustable louvres make it possible to direct the cool air to provide maximum cooling.
